OUR AIM is to reduce motorcycle accidents by encouraging an interest in road safety, and improving riding standards, knowledge and skill. In order to do this SAPAR will provide free tutoring to help you improve your riding skills and prepare you to take the Ultimate Advanced Motorcycle Test.

Membership
SAPAR has 2 Levels of Rider Membership and Pillions are not forgotten
Full Membership
If you have already passed the RoADAR Test then you can join the group as a Full Member. The Cost of Full Membership is £20 per year. You will need to supply your test details if applying for Full Membership.
Associate Membership
By joining the group as a New Associate Member you agree to actively train for the RoADAR Advanced Riding Test.
The Cost of Associate Membership is £55 for the first year. This includes SAPAR Membership and the following books: The Highway Code, Motorcycle Roadcraft & Know your Road Traffic Signs. If you already have these books then the Cost is £35. Subsequent renewal as an Associate Member is £20
Pillion Membership
If you have a regular pillion who would like to join the group for social events then they can join for an additional £7.50

SAPAR are the local RoSPA motorcycle group for Shropshire and Powys - Our aim is to provide advanced motorcycle tutoring up to Gold standard advanced level. Tutoring is provided by RoSPA approved Tutors and is aimed at anyone who is interested in improving the standard of their motorcycle riding. When you ride with SAPAR tutors, or are on a group ride-out, or other SAPAR or RoSPA related activity or event, an absolute condition is that you are responsible for your own riding. You must be in control of your motorbike at all times. Your motorbike must be fully road legal, including insurance, tax, with an MoT if required. You must have a driving licence and insurance valid for the machine that you ride. While advice may be given by SAPAR tutors, it is your decision whether to act on this advice or not. Ensuring safety for yourself and of others is entirely your responsibility. SAPAR, its committee and tutors, and RoSPA will accept no liability for accidents or damage however caused which occur as a result of your riding.
