Marion presented an interesting photo and video diary of her recent adventures in India to an attentive and packed audience in this months social evening.

From the bottom to the top of the world!!

Jim and Jenny Mitchell shared their amazing experiences on the journey of a lifetime from Buenos Aires to Alaska. He brought his bike fully laden for the members and guests to inspect and marvel how any motorcycle could carry so much luggage and still have room for the crew (Jim and Jenny).

Wistanstow Vintage & Classic Bike Show 2016

SAPAR members attended the Wistanstow show to promote Advanced Riding. This show was well attended with many bikes of all ages and condition either available to view inside the village hall or in the packed car park.

Lynns Ravens Big Breakfast

Many, many members attended this event to man (& woman) the gazebo. The weather was very kind to the event despite a cold start. This was a well attended event with many hundreds of bikers dropping in on a wide variety of machines. Some even put on displays of their riding abilities when leaving, burn outs, donuts etc.
Quite few expressed an interest in advanced riding so perhaps we shall have some new members.

One Steph Beyond

Steph Jeavons is on a mission to travel around the world on a Honda CRF250L. So far she has ridden to 40 countries and covered around 52,000 miles. Her claim to fame is having fallen off the bike on 7 continents.
Steph provided a very interesting and humorous presentation to SAPAR members and friends which raised in excess of £350 for her onward journey. Members of SAPAR wish Steph good fortune and a safe journey as she sets off soon to complete her mission.

Follow Steph on the last segment of her journey by visiting her blog.

Shawbury Track Day

SAPAR were present at this 2 day event with the gazebo being manned by willing volunteers. Unfortunately there was a distinct lack of members from the general public so there was limited opportunity to sell the advantages of Advanced Riding.

However it did provide a unique opportunity to see how keen amateurs prepare for and race around a track without the risk of ours friends issuing speeding tickets

Monthly Social Meeting:

We vary the choice of venue for our Social Meetings. This is to reflect the wide area from which we draw our membership. Sometimes we simply meet for a natter and bar food, and on other occasions we have specific events.
