Bike4Life 2017

Once again SAPAR members were involved in helping this very worthwhile cause. Beginning on Saturday 29th April at RAF Cosford to assemble the gazebo etc in readiness for Sundays event. Once done the team hot footed to Meole Brace park and ride to manoeuvre around 200 motorway traffic cones and copious amounts of warning tape to create routes into and out of the car park.

The event itself began quietly on Sunday morning but soon built up with an estimated 4000 bikes being squeezed into the park. Rumour has it that another 1000 were parked in Toys R Us and an equal number in McDonalds car park.

VIP's this year were Carl Fogarty, Steve Parrish and Shane Lynch

We vary the choice of venue for our Social Meetings. This is to reflect the wide area from which we draw our membership. Sometimes we simply meet for a natter and bar food, and on other occasions we have specific events.
