Assessments General

Have your riding skills assessed completely free at one of our Assessment Days or by contacting us for an assessment at a mutually agreeable time with one of our tutors.

OUR MISSION is to reduce motorcycle accidents by encouraging an interest in road safety, and improving riding standards, knowledge and skill. In order to do this SAPAR will provide free tutoring to help you improve your riding skills and prepare you to take the Ultimate Advanced Motorcycle Test.

Assessment Information

Assessments are completely free, no hidden charges.

Assessments should take approximately 1 hour including a pre ride briefing and post ride debrief.

To enquire about arranging an assessment outside of any planned events please use the  'Assessments' option from the 'Contacts' page on this website or email Stuart McMillan - training@saparweb.com.

Along with your roadworthy motorcycle, you will need to bring the following documents:

1. Current Driving Licence

2. Current MOT certificate (If Appropriate)

3. Current Insurance Certificate

4. Proof of Vehicle Excise Duty (road tax)

You will also need to complete an eyesight test (You must be able to read (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) a car number plate made after 1 September 2001 from 20 metres).

Failure on any of the above will result in no assessment being conducted.

 

Eligibility - Assessment Days are open to full licence holders with category A1, A2 and A entitlement
