We only gather details that are relevant to your application to join Shropshire and Powys Advanced Riders. We do not hold bank details and we will not pass your details to anyone else.
The Application form covers your membership requirements and chosen payment methods, followed by communciation preferences and the usual confirmation that you agree to our ‘Terms and Conditions’Membership subscriptions are collected annually through GoCardless on the anniversay of joining the group.
You will be contacted prior to the renewal payment at which point you can decline for the payment to be processed and your membership will cease.
It’s important to set up the GoCardless Payment process either during or after submitting the Application Form as your membership cannot be processed unless until it is setup.
Once payment has been received we will send you confirmation of your membership.
Membership fees are Non-Refundable unless agreed to by the committee.

Terms and conditions for joining Shropshire and Powys Advanced Riders: Shropshire and Powys Advanced Riders are the RoSPA motorcycle group for Shropshire and Powys – Our aim is to provide skills development training to enable you to take the RoSPA Advanced Rider test.
It is a condition of joining that you make yourself available for training, the sessions for which are likely to cover 40 miles or further as agreed between you and your tutor. Our objective is that you can take your test within 12 months of joining or under extenuating circumstances 24 months. If after 24 months you have not taken your RoSPA test or an acceptable alternative advanced riding qualification your membership with our group will cease.Tutoring is provided by RoSPA approved Tutors and is aimed at anyone who is interested in improving their motorbike riding skills. When you ride with Shropshire and Powys Advanced Riders tutors or on another Shropshire and Powys Advanced Riders event or RoSPA related event, an absolute condition is that you are responsible for your own riding. You must always be in control of your motorbike. Your motorbike must be road legal, and you must have a driving licence and insurance valid for the machine that you ride. While advice may be given by Shropshire and Powys Advanced Riders tutors, it is your decision whether to act on this advice or not. Ensuring safety for yourself and of others is entirely your responsibility. Shropshire and Powys Advanced Riders, its committee and tutors, and RoSPA will accept no liability for accidents or damage however caused which occur as a result of your riding.Declaration covering all membership categories. In completing the membership application form you acknowledge and commit to the following: For any motorbike riding I do with Shropshire and Powys Advanced Riders, including observed runs and social events, I confirm that I will always be held responsible for my own riding and the control of my motorbike. My motorbike will be insured, taxed and road legal and that I hold a valid driving license for the machine I ride. I agree that Shropshire and Powys Advanced Riders, its committee, tutors, or RoSPA will accept no liability for accidents or damage however caused which occur as a result of my riding. I understand that it is my own responsibility to ride safely, responsibly and within the law
