Ride Information
We organise Social Rideouts from April to November, generally starting at 9.30 a.m. from Montford Bridge Cafe. The rides are between 120 to 220 miles long with one or two stops on the way. Typically we go into Wales, Herefordshire, the Forest of Dean, the Brecons and the Peak District. The ride leader will be a qualified Advanced Rider and SaPAR member.
The rides are open to members and non-members, although we may restrict non-members to three rides before they join SaPAR. For non-members its a great way to meet advanced riders and to chat with them about their experiences of becoming and Advanced Rider.
Please read the Important Information below for more detail regarding what to do on a Rideout.
If you have an Advanced Riding qualification and would like to lead a ride then please get in touch with: [email protected]. There are a number of routes available in the route library if you’d like to use one of them.
Please note that these rides are a Social event with the route being planned by a volunteer. They do not form part of our training program and are not covered by RoSPA insurance. The volunteers involved in managing the ride are not responsible for attendees wellbeing or incidents occurring on the ride.
